On the Metaphysics of God, Religion & Morality - God as What Exists - Absolute Space and its Properties

Zeno - Stoic - All things are parts of One Single system which we call Nature.(Zeno-Stoic 333-262BC) God is not separate from the world; He is the soul of the world, and each of us contains a part of the Divine Fire. ... All things are parts of one single system, which is called Nature.

Tolstoy - Theology - What am I? A part of the infinite. It is indeed in these words that the whole problem lies. The essence of any religion lies solely in the answer to the question: why do I exist, and what is my relationship to the infinite universe that surrounds me? (Tolstoy, 1879) 'True religion is that relationship, in accordance with reason and knowledge, which man establishes with the infinite world around him, and which binds his life to that infinity and guides his actions. ... From this relationship follows man's purpose, which lies in increasing his spiritual qualities, and man's purpose leads to the practical rules of the law: do to others as you would have them do unto you.'

Gandhi - God Truth - It is That which alone is, which constitutes the stuff of which all things are made, which subsists by virtue of its own power, which is not supported by anything else but supports everything that exists. Truth alone is eternal, everything else is momentary. It is more correct to say that Truth is God, than to say that God is Truth. All life comes from the one universal source, call it Allah, God or Parmeshwara. (Gandhi 1869-1948) 'Truth alone is eternal, everything else is momentary. It is more correct to say that Truth is God, than to say that God is Truth. ... All life comes from the one universal source, call it Allah, God or Parmeshwara.'

Summary: God is the One Infinite Eternal thing which Exists (Space) and Causes the Many things (Matter as Spherical Wave Motions of Space). Religion (from Latin Religare - to bind) is our Connection to the One thing (God, Brahman, Space) as Spherical Standing Waves which determine the Size of our Finite Spherical Universe within an Infinite Space. This then Solves the Problem of Morality 'Do unto Others as you would have done unto Yourself' as Matter (and thus Humans) are the size of the Universe thus the Other is a Part of the Self.

Theology: Main page. Summary explaining God (One Infinite Eternal Substance) and the fundamental morality of all world religions (the golden rule) 'Do unto others as you would have done unto yourself' with the Metaphysics of Space and the Wave Structure of Matter. i.e. God is One thing, Infinite Space and its wave motions that cause and connect the many things, matter. Brief overview of theology and different world religions.

Atheism & Agnosticism - Collection of quotes from famous Atheist and Agnostic philosophers and scientists. e.g. Sigmund Frued, Charles Darwin, Friedrich Nietzsche. Summary on understanding religion as our connection to what exists and causes all things (universe, reality, God) thus we are all religious. Religion should unite us to one thing and thus bring harmony to humanity. 'A little philosophy inclineth men's minds to atheism; but depth in philosophy bringeth men's minds to religion.' (Bacon)

Buddha & Nirvana: Buddhism Religion - 'All phenomena link together in a mutually conditioning network.' The Wave Structure of Matter (WSM) explains nirvana (truth) karma (interconnection). Life of Buddha (566 - 486 B.C.) and quotes on the Middle Way, the Four Noble Truths, the Eightfold Path. Large collection of quotes on buddhist philosophy.

God - God is One thing, Infinite Eternal Space and its wave motions that cause and connect the many things, matter. Discussion of quotes from philosophers and theologians on God.

Greek Gods and Myths - Information on the origins of Greek mythology. Summaries and pictures of Greek Gods and Goddesses (Apollo, Aphrodite, Athena, Artemis, Ares, Demeter, Dionysus, Eros, Hera, Hermes, Poseidon, Zeus).

Hinduism - On the metaphysics of Hinduism religion: Brahman (Space, Reality) is a dynamic unity. Information on Hinduism beliefs and Hindu gods. Quotes from the Vedas (1200 BC) and the Upanishads (~ 8th or 7th century BC). 'Though One, Brahman is the cause of the many. .. The One manifests as the many, the formless putting on forms.' (Rig Veda)

Judaism - Information on the ancient origins and history of Judaism religion, main beliefs of the Jews, ancient texts (i.e. the Torah) and the jewish understanding of Jesus Christ.

Morality Ethics - Discussion of morality both as an evolved human emotional construction and the guidance of actions from necessary interconnection to the universe. The fundamental morality of all world religions 'Do unto others ...' is logically true as the other is part of self. Quotes from Buddha, Michel de Montaigne, Benedict Spinoza, David Hume, Leo Tolstoy, Mohandas K. Gandhi, Albert Einstein.

Morality: Free Will vs Determinism - Summary on the problems of determinism, necessary connection, free will and morality. The Wave Structure of Matter explains how we can have limited free will in a necessarily connected universe (infinite system is necessarily connected not deterministic).

Mysticism & Mystics - Summary of eastern mysticism and ancient mystical thought. Explaining the dynamic unity of reality and the illusion of our senses (samsara) with the Wave Structure of Matter. 'The most beautiful and most profound experience is the sensation of the mystical. It is the sower of all true science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead. ... this knowledge, this feeling is at the center of true religiousness.' (Albert Einstein, Merging of Spirit & Science)

Pantheism - 'Pan' means 'all'. Thus pantheism means All is God (One, Nature, Space, Tao). Discussion of philosophers quotes on pantheism (Heraclitus, Lao Tzu, Spinoza, Albert Einstein, etc.) Understanding pantheism with the Metaphysics of Space and Wave Structure of Matter (WSM).

Pantheism of Spinoza - The Dutch philosopher, Benedictus de Spinoza realised that God, Nature and Reality are One and the Same thing. 'I believe in Spinoza's God who reveals himself in the orderly harmony of what exists, not in a God who concerns himself with the fates and actions of human beings.' (Albert Einstein)

Taoism: Way of the Tao - Summary of the ancient Chinese philosophy of Taoism. 'The Great Tao flows everywhere .. All things depend on it for life .. We do not know its name, but we call it Tao ... Deep and still, it seems to have existed forever.' (Lao Tzu) The Wave Structure of Matter confirms the dynamic unity of reality / the Tao. Lao Tzu quotes from the 'Tao te Ching'. 'Being one with nature, the sage is in accord with the Tao' (Lao Tzu).

Tolstoy, Leo - Discussion of quotes from Leo Tolstoy ('My Confessions and Other Religious Writings', 1882). On a rational explanation of God, religion as our true connection to the Universe, morality and the hypocrisy of the Church. 'What am I? A part of the infinite. It is indeed in these words that the whole problem lies. .. And the cause of everything is that which we call God. To know God and to live is the same thing. God is Life.' (Tolstoy)

World Religions - A brief summary of the major world religions, history, shared ideas, statistics, numbers of adherents and the fundamental morality 'Do unto others ...' 'The idea of the individual being linked to the cosmos is expressed in the Latin root of the word religion, 'religare' (to bind strongly), as well as the Sanskrit yoga, which means union.' (Fritjof Capra)

"You must be the change you wish to see in the world."
(Mohandas Gandhi)

Albert Einstein"When forced to summarize the general theory of relativity in one sentence: Time and space and gravitation have no separate existence from matter. ... Physical objects are not in space, but these objects are spatially extended. In this way the concept 'empty space' loses its meaning. ... The particle can only appear as a limited region in space in which the field strength or the energy density are particularly high. ...
The free, unhampered exchange of ideas and scientific conclusions is necessary for the sound development of science, as it is in all spheres of cultural life. ... We must not conceal from ourselves that no improvement in the present depressing situation is possible without a severe struggle; for the handful of those who are really determined to do something is minute in comparison with the mass of the lukewarm and the misguided. ...
Humanity is going to need a substantially new way of thinking if it is to survive!" (Albert Einstein)

Biography: Geoffrey Haselhurst, Philosopher of Science, Theoretical Physics, Metaphysics, Evolution. Our world is in great trouble due to human behaviour founded on myths and customs that are causing the destruction of Nature and climate change. We can now deduce the most simple science theory of reality - the wave structure of matter in space. By understanding how we and everything around us are interconnected in Space we can then deduce solutions to the fundamental problems of human knowledge in physics, philosophy, metaphysics, theology, education, health, evolution and ecology, politics and society.

This is the profound new way of thinking that Einstein realised, that we exist as spatially extended structures of the universe - the discrete and separate body an illusion. This simply confirms the intuitions of the ancient philosophers and mystics.

Given the current censorship in physics / philosophy of science journals (based on the standard model of particle physics / big bang cosmology) the internet is the best hope for getting new knowledge known to the world. But that depends on you, the people who care about science and society, realise the importance of truth and reality.

It is easy to help - just click on the social network sites (below) or grab a nice image / quote you like and add it to your favourite blog, wiki or forum. We are listed as one of the top philosophy sites on the Internet (600,000 page views / week) and have a wonderful collection of knowledge from the greatest minds in human history, so people will appreciate your contributions.
