Over the past two months (to February, 2010) I have re-written some of the more important pages. So if you have any questions then it is recommended that you check these pages first.

Wave Equation in an Elastic Wave Medium - Deducing the famous energy equations, Einstein's E=mc2, Planck's E=hf and Newton's F=ma from simple wave equations in an elastic medium (space). This confirms that the equivalence of matter and energy is because matter is made of waves, and waves propagate energy. All forces are due to changes in wave velocity.
The Laws of Nature - The Wave Structure of Matter (WSM) deduces the laws of Nature that have been empirically observed and quantified over the past several centuries. This changes the foundations of science / physics from inductive (uncertain) to deductive (certain).

The solution is simple, space is a wave medium and contains wave motions. i.e. From the motion of matter particles in space and time, to the wave motion of space that causes matter and time.

What is a spherical standing wave?
A wave is a disturbance of a medium - an oscillation between 2 energy states. In reality there is just one medium, space. It is a wave medium, the wave oscillates between kinetic / motion energy and elastic / potential energy. This is why matter and energy are equivalent.
A standing wave is formed from two waves of the same wavelength traveling in opposite directions. For matter we require a spherical wave (matter is spherical). Thus the spherical wave must flow through the wave center 'particle' and interact with the in wave from the other side. This is true in all directions about the wave center and forms a spherical standing wave around the wave center 'particle'.
The electron has a spherical in / out wave structure. The wave-center
forms the 'particle' effect, the spherical in and out waves explain
the continual two way communication / interconnection of matter in space.
The error is also obvious, the spherical in waves form high wave amplitude waves at the wave center, thus this is where the wave interactions / energy exchanges occur, and this gives the appearance of discrete 'particles'.
How do waves form matter particles?
The particle is just the high wave amplitude wave center of the spherical standing wave. This is where the wave interactions / energy exchanges occur, so we see this as a discrete 'particle'.
How do waves form light particles?
The problem of light particles arose from careless use of language. What they discovered was that light energy is discrete (quantised). This is an empirical fact - it is a theoretical assumption that light is a particle. The solution is obvious, standing wave interactions (resonance) are necessarily discrete - this is why they introduced wave equations into quantum physics in the first place to explain these discrete phenomena.
If everything is a wave, why can’t my body walk through a wall without damaging the wall or myself?
The wave amplitude at the wave center is very high, and this causes the wave velocity to be higher. Thus when you get two same phase wave centers near one another then the wave interactions become significant and cause the in waves of each wave center to travel faster through the other wave center. This causes the wave centers to re-position away from one another (i.e. like charges repel).
How do waves form solid bodies?
It is important to realise that the waves are only coherent near the high wave amplitude wave center. When wave centers are near one another their coherent spherical in and out waves overlap, so that the wave centers become 'trapped' with these coherent waves that connect the many wave centers together. Effectively the solidness of matter (waves) comes from the rigidity of space.
The solid crystal array is a matrix of atoms held rigidly in space. How are the atoms suspended in space? We must conclude that the crystal's rigidity derives from fixed standing waves propagating in a nearly rigid wave medium. Calculations for diamonds and nuclear structure yields an enormous rigidity. This is really a separate argument about the rigidity of space, which is one of its properties. (Milo Wolff, 1994)
The subtlety of the concept of space was enhanced by the discovery that there exist no completely rigid bodies. (Albert Einstein, 1954)
How do waves forms liquids and gasses?
In liquids the overlap of coherent waves is decreased, this allows molecules to move relative to one another while still being bound to a certain degree. In gasses there is no overlap of coherent waves so the wave center 'particles' are free to move relative to one another.
Are the waves longitudinal or transverse?
In a nearly rigid wave medium (space) both transverse and longitudinal waves are possible. I think that the waves are a mix of both, that in any region of space there are oscillations in all directions.
What is the difference between scalar and vector waves?
Scalar waves are defined by only one quantity, their wave amplitude. Vector waves are defined by two quantities, their amplitude and direction. The real waves in space are scalar. The electromagnetic waves of mathematical physics are vector waves that describe an amplitude and force (magnitude and direction of force). These em waves are just mathematical constructs, describing the forces the wave has on an electron. The true cause of this force is changes in the wave velocity of the scalar waves that causes changes in the position of the wave center.
If reality is simple how does it evolve complexity?
Reality is simple - just one substance, space, exists - wave motions of
space form matter and cause time.
Reality is mind bogglingly complex - each wave center is formed from the out waves of around a billion billion billion billion billion billion billion billion billion other wave centers (all other matter in our Hubble sphere / observable universe within infinite space).
If the WSM is so simple and obvious why don't more people believe it?
A new scientific truth does not triumph by convincing its
opponents and making them see the light, but rather because its opponents
eventually die, and a new generation grows up that is familiar with it.
The resistance to new ideas increases by the square of their importance (Russell's Law)
Why isn't the WSM published in major journals?
I have not published anything - but have not tried. A bit hard for me as
I am a non-academic natural philosopher - a rare breed that is nearly extinct
and not welcomed by academics!
Mathematical physicist Milo Wolff has published some work in 2nd rank journals. He sent me a few rejection comments - they were depressing in their stupid reasons for not publishing (e.g. the work is not relevant to our journal, or it is too general, or it does not understand the particle wave duality). How does the Wave Structure of Matter explain the human mind?
Obviously the mind is very complex, but we can now explain how we can have senses of the 'external world', how we can store and process knowledge, how we can think logically, why the mind is always in motion. It is important to remember that mind, matter and space are one interconnected thing - neither the brain nor the mind exist as separate discrete things. Everything is a structure of the universe - thus there is no subject and object, no external world - they are one interconnected thing. See the Philosophy of Mind page.
If the universe is a giant wave machine how can I have any free will?
Because space is infinite the system cannot be determined. We live in a necessarily interconnected reality that has limited determinism, limited freedom. There are many possible futures that abide by the laws of Nature. We have evolved to select from these possible futures based upon our genetic and cultural programming, how this interplays with our physical environment. See Free Will Vs Determinism. How did it all Start?
I get this question a lot! But with some thought you realise that the question is meaningless. It is logical and necessary that physical reality has always existed. In the WSM space and its wave motions are what exists, they have always existed, they always will. i.e. Space (one substance) must be infinite (not bounded by another substance), eternal (not created by another substance), continuous (not contain another substance). This is explained in the metaphysics page.
What does WSM say about the Big Bang theory?
WSM is founded on only one substance existing, space. This space is a wave medium and has waves flowing through it (vibrating space if you like). This describes an infinite eternal system of waves in space. Nothing created it (which is illogical), space and its wave motions have always existed. The big bang is a 'particle' concept based upon an incorrect interpretation of the redshift with distance. See Cosmology pages.
Where do my In-Waves come from?
From the out waves of other matter around you within your observable universe. This means that each wave center 'particle' is at the center of its finite spherical universe within infinite space. See the Equation of the Cosmos.
Why do we get a Redshift with Distance?
Each wave center 'particle' is the center of its finite spherical observable universe (Hubble Sphere) within infinite Space. As two wave center 'particles' move apart there is less overlap of common Hubble spheres / observable universes, thus less wave interactions with increasing distance, thus less energy exchange which then provides a simple sensible explanation of the redshift with distance. What causes the Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation (CMBR)?
The Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation (CMBR) is sensibly explained due to radiation from cold matter in interstellar space. Since we only measure one source of CMBR this means that there cannot have been a 'Big Bang' otherwise we would observe two sources of cosmic background radiation.
What is Einstein's four dimensional space-time continuum?
The four dimensional space time continuum is the spherical wave. A sphere is 3D, its motion is the fourth dimension (the true cause of time / change).
How does matter curve the four dimensional space-time continuum?
When you accelerate a 'particle' you really change the wave velocity from one direction which changes the ellipsoidal curvature of the 'spherical' in and out waves. Thus there is a logical relationship between ellipsoidal geometry and acceleration / gravity. This is what Einstein deduced in his general relativity. What is now known as matter curving the 4D space-time continuum.
How does WSM relate to Einstein's relativity
Einstein's is correct that;
Matter is a structure of space (there are no discrete particles).
Matter is spherical / ellipsoidal thus his geometry is correct.
His metaphysical foundation of continuous fields in space-time is not correct.
Continuous structures do not explain discrete and non local phenomena of quantum physics. Instead we must work from real waves in space, rather than continuous fields in space-time (which is a mathematical approximation of many discrete standing wave interactions).

What is anti-matter?
The opposite phase standing wave to matter. Thus the electron and the positron are opposite phase standing waves.
Why do matter and anti-matter annihilate to produce energy?
They annihilate due to destructive wave interference. However, it is more complex than this. The positron and electron attract one another (as they each slow down the other's in waves). I assume that they approach one another at high velocity and form (briefly) positronium by spiraling / orbiting around one another. This sets up the repeating wave patterns necessary for resonant coupling (light) interactions with other bound electrons in atoms / molecules.
What is a Proton?
I am not sure - it is some complex wave pattern, either;
i) A positron with further waves trapped at the non-linear wave center (Milo Wolff)
ii) A collection of positrons and electrons with one more positron to explain positive charge.
What is a Neutron?
A proton with one more electron to make it neutral.
What are Quarks?
I assume it is a mathematical construct, possibly related to the internal wave structure of positrons and electrons that form the proton.
Why is matter stable?
Once you have a coherent wave center with high wave amplitude waves, then these high velocity waves become trapped in phase. Basically space is full of non coherent waves, and matter 'particles' are just locations in space where these waves are coherent.
What is Zero Point Energy (quantum vacuum fluctuations, quantum field theory)?
The waves flowing through 'empty space' from 1080 other wave center 'particles'. Space is teeming with energy from these non coherent waves. This explains the 'free energy machines' which are really extracting energy from these waves in space (wave energy is always conserved).
Energy: Energy exists as kinetic or elastic energy of space. A wave in space is an oscillation between these two forms of energy. Because matter is made of waves, thus matter and energy are equivalent. See the wave equations in an elastic wave medium (space).
Force: All forces are just changes in wave velocity, which cause changes in the position of the wave center. This change in wave velocity also changes the wavelength (special relativity) and spherical / ellipsoidal shape of matter (general relativity).
Gravity: This is due to changes in wave velocity caused by the mass-energy density of space (calculated by squaring the wave amplitude). The higher the energy density of space, the slower the wave velocity. Since the mass energy density of space is always positive, thus gravity is always attractive (wave centers always re-position in the direction of slowest incoming waves).

What predictions does the WSM make?
Well the wave structure of matter (WSM) deduces the Laws of Nature, thus if you went back to the time of Newton and compared the predictions of the WSM with those of Newton's mechanics you would see that the WSM predicted the discoveries of quantum physics, Einstein's relativity and cosmology.
There are three further predictions that come from WSM and are not currently predicted by the standard model / big bang theory.
1. The motion of distant galaxies should be consistent with them being
surrounded by matter. Why? Because in WSM cosmology every wave center 'particle'
is at the center of its finite observable universe within infinite space.
In the big bang cosmology this would not be true. This prediction was made
in 2003, it was confirmed by observation in 2008.

2. The de Broglie phase wave is the cause of non-locality. The phase wave is planar, and has a velocity of c2 / relative velocity. This is deduced by Milo Wolff from simple Doppler shifts of the in and out waves for relative motion. Thus we need an experiment to measure this velocity of the non-local de Broglie wave (this would also show that non-locality is not instant).
3. The velocity of waves is not constant, and increases with wave amplitude. See the wave equations in an elastic wave medium (space). Thus a wave traveling through other wave centers must travel faster than a wave traveling in 'empty space'. We need an experiment to measure this increased wave velocity.
