Albert Einstein
Only the individual can think, and thereby create new values for society, nay, even set up new moral standards to which the life of the community conforms.

The ideals which have lighted my way, and time after time have given me new courage to face life cheerfully, have been Kindness, Beauty and Truth.

I advocate world government because I am convinced that there is no other possible way of eliminating the most terrible danger in which man has ever found himself. The objective of avoiding total destruction must have priority over any other objective. (Albert Einstein, 1947)

The economic anarchy of capitalist society as it exists today is, in my opinion, the real source of evil. (Albert Einstein, 1949)

Nikola Tesla (seated next to the conductors of the largest Tesla coil ever built, Colorado Springs 1899)

One day man will connect his apparatus to the very wheel work of the universe .. and the very forces that motivate the planets in their orbits and cause them to rotate will rotate his own machinery. (Nikola Tesla)

It is characteristic of fundamental discoveries, of great achievements of the intellect, that they retain an undiminished power upon the imagination of the thinker. The memorable experiment of Faraday with a disc rotating between two poles of a magnet, which has borne such magnificent fruit, has long passed into every-day experience; yet there are certain features about this embryo of the present dynamos and motors which even today appear to us striking, and are worthy of the most careful study. (Nikola Tesla, 1891)

'The gift of truth excels all other gifts.' (Buddha)

The world is continuous flux and is impermanent. (Buddha)

Transient are conditioned things. Try to accomplish your aim with diligence. (Buddha's last words)

Never by hatred is hatred appeased, but it is appeased by kindness. This is an eternal truth. (Buddha)

The religion of the future will be a cosmic religion. It should transcend personal God and avoid dogma and theology. Covering both the natural and the spiritual, it should be based on a religious sense arising from the experience of all things natural and spiritual as a meaningful unity. Buddhism answers this description. If there is any religion that could cope with modern scientific needs it would be Buddhism. (Albert Einstein)

Confucius

Men's natures are alike, it is their habits that carry them far apart. (Confucius, Analects)

Study the past if you would define the future. (Confucius, Analects)

I am not one who was born in the possession of knowledge; I am one who is fond of antiquity, and earnest in seeking it there. (Confucius, Analects)

To learn and from time to time to apply what one has learned, isn't that a pleasure? ... Learning without thought is labor lost; thought without learning is perilous. (Confucius, Analects).

Be not ashamed of mistakes and thus make them crimes. (Confucius)

Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it. (Confucius)

How delicate her feet who shuns the ground, Stepping a-tiptoe on the heads of men. (Homer)

One is not born, but rather becomes a woman. (Simone de Beauvoir, 1949)

Strengthen the female mind by enlarging it, and there will be an end to blind obedience. (Mary Wollstonecraft)

We have to free half of the human race, the women, so that they can help to free the other half. (Emmeline Pankhurst, Women Suffragist)

Age does not protect you from love. But love, to some extent, protects you from age. (Anais Nin)

The Kingdom (of Heaven) is inside you and it is outside you
Split a piece of wood, and I am there
Lift up the stone and there you will find me
(The Gospel of Thomas)

For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father also will forgive you; but if you do not forgive men their trespasses neither will your father forgive your trespasses. (Matthew 6:14-15)

For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted. (Luke 14:11)

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. The second is like it, You shall love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets. (Matthew 22:37-40)

"You must be the change you wish to see in the world."
(Mohandas Gandhi)

Albert Einstein"When forced to summarize the general theory of relativity in one sentence: Time and space and gravitation have no separate existence from matter. ... Physical objects are not in space, but these objects are spatially extended. In this way the concept 'empty space' loses its meaning. ... The particle can only appear as a limited region in space in which the field strength or the energy density are particularly high. ...
The free, unhampered exchange of ideas and scientific conclusions is necessary for the sound development of science, as it is in all spheres of cultural life. ... We must not conceal from ourselves that no improvement in the present depressing situation is possible without a severe struggle; for the handful of those who are really determined to do something is minute in comparison with the mass of the lukewarm and the misguided. ...
Humanity is going to need a substantially new way of thinking if it is to survive!" (Albert Einstein)

Biography: Geoffrey Haselhurst, Philosopher of Science, Theoretical Physics, Metaphysics, Evolution. Our world is in great trouble due to human behaviour founded on myths and customs that are causing the destruction of Nature and climate change. We can now deduce the most simple science theory of reality - the wave structure of matter in space. By understanding how we and everything around us are interconnected in Space we can then deduce solutions to the fundamental problems of human knowledge in physics, philosophy, metaphysics, theology, education, health, evolution and ecology, politics and society.

This is the profound new way of thinking that Einstein realised, that we exist as spatially extended structures of the universe - the discrete and separate body an illusion. This simply confirms the intuitions of the ancient philosophers and mystics.

Given the current censorship in physics / philosophy of science journals (based on the standard model of particle physics / big bang cosmology) the internet is the best hope for getting new knowledge known to the world. But that depends on you, the people who care about science and society, realise the importance of truth and reality.

It is easy to help - just click on the social network sites (below) or grab a nice image / quote you like and add it to your favourite blog, wiki or forum. We are listed as one of the top philosophy sites on the Internet (600,000 page views / week) and have a wonderful collection of knowledge from the greatest minds in human history, so people will appreciate your contributions. Thanks! Geoff Haselhurst - Karene Howie - Email
