Holistic Japanese Healing Using
Hands to Transfer Life Force Energy (Ki, Chi)
The
secret art of inviting happiness
The miraculous medicine of all diseases
Just for today, do not anger
Do not worry and be filled with gratitude
Devote yourself to your work. Be kind to people.
Every morning and evening, join your hands in prayer.
Pray these words to your heart
and chant these words with your mouth.
(The Reiki Principles, Dr. Mikao Usui)
What is Reiki
'The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means 'God's Wisdom or the Higher Power' and Ki which is 'life force energy'. So Reiki means 'spiritually guided life force energy'.
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by 'laying on hands' and is based on the idea that 'life force energy' flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's energy is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
Reiki treats the whole person - the body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. It is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use.
The ability to use Reiki is transferred to the student during a Reiki class. This ability is passed on during an 'attunement' given by a Reiki master and allows the student to tap into an unlimited supply of 'life force energy' to improve one's health and enhance the quality of life.'

Principles of Reiki
Just for today ..
1) Do not be irate
2) Do not be worried
3) Be grateful
4) Work hard (on yourself)
5) Be kind to others. (Mikao Usui)
'The principles or guidelines for an harmonious and balanced life, were first written by Emperor Meiji (1868-1912) and adopted by Mikao Usui.
The principles are not moral obligations; their life-giving soul
is the feeling of oneness: oneness is harmony of the individual with the
whole cosmos.
From the Reiki point of view, integrating such principles in out lives
means becoming clear channels of Universal Life Energy.
Mikao Usui recommended repeating them out loud and let them resound in our heart every morning and every night, sitting (on the floor and on a chair) and relaxed, keeping the legs straight or in the lotus position, with the hands crossed over the heart (balance) or joined in the position called Gassho.
In this exercise, of course, as with all meditation practices, what is most important is the spiritual intention, that is to say the actual receptiveness and openness of mind and hearth (kokoro).'

History of Reiki
'Dr. Mikao Usui (1865 - 1926) founded the Usui System of Reiki in 1922. This system of healing was based on his mystical experience on Mt. Kurama and his studies in many areas of knowledge.
During his mystical experience on Mt. Kurama, Dr. Usui received the ability to do Reiki treatments. Later he added the Reiki Ideals (see top of page), the three Reiki II symbols, hand positions and the attunement process.
One of Usui's students, Chujiro Hayashi, further developed the healing practices, placing less emphasis on the meditative techniques. He developed a complex hand position system and further developed the attunement process.
An American named Hawayo Takata learned Reiki from Hayashi in Japan and introduced it to Western cultures in the late 1930s.'

Practice of Reiki
'In a Reiki session, the client lies down or sits comfortably, fully clothed. The practitioner's hands are placed lightly on or just above the client's body, palms down, using a series of 12 to 15 different hand positions.
Each position is held for about 2 to 5 minutes, or until the practitioner feels that the flow of energy - experienced as sensations such as heat or tingling in the hands - has slowed or stopped. The number of sessions depends on the health needs of the client.
Typically, the practitioner delivers at least four sessions of 30 to 90 minutes each. The duration of Reiki sessions may be shorter in certain health care settings (for example, during surgery).'

Help Humanity
"You must be the change you wish to see in the world."
(Mohandas Gandhi)
"When forced to summarize the general theory of relativity in one sentence:
Time and space and gravitation have no separate existence from matter. ... Physical objects are not in space, but these objects are spatially extended. In this way the concept 'empty space' loses its meaning. ... The particle can only appear as a limited region in space in which
the field strength or the energy density are particularly high. ...
The free, unhampered exchange of ideas and scientific conclusions is necessary for the sound development of science, as it is in all spheres
of cultural life. ... We must not conceal from ourselves that no improvement in the present depressing situation is possible without
a severe struggle; for the handful of those who are really determined to do something is minute in comparison with the mass of the lukewarm
and the misguided. ...
Humanity is going to need a substantially new way of thinking if it is to survive!" (Albert Einstein)
Our world is in great trouble due to human behaviour founded on myths and customs that are causing the destruction of Nature and climate change. We can now deduce the most simple science theory of reality - the wave structure of matter in space. By understanding how we and everything around us are interconnected
in Space we can then deduce solutions to the fundamental problems of human knowledge in physics, philosophy, metaphysics, theology, education, health, evolution and ecology, politics and society.
This is the profound new way of thinking that Einstein
realised, that we exist as spatially extended structures of the universe - the discrete and separate body an illusion. This simply confirms the
intuitions of the ancient philosophers and mystics.
Given the current censorship in physics / philosophy of science journals (based on the standard model of particle physics / big bang cosmology) the internet is the best hope for getting new knowledge
known to the world. But that depends on you, the people who care about science and society, realise the importance of truth and reality.

We have a wonderful collection of knowledge from the greatest minds in human history, so people will appreciate your contributions. In doing this you will help a new generation of scientists see that there is a simple sensible explanation of physical reality - the source of truth and wisdom, the only cure for the madness of man! Thanks! Geoff Haselhurst (Updated September, 2018)
A new scientific truth does not triumph by convincing its opponents and making them see the light, but rather because its opponents eventually die, and a new generation grows up that is familiar with it. (Max Planck, 1920)
